IISc is also known as Tata Institute in Bangalore.

The Bangalore City railway station is about 7 km from IISc campus. Majestic (7Ms from IISc) is the central Bus stand in Bangalore which is just opposite to the City Railway station.

There is a prepaid auto/taxi counter just outside of the City railway station. One can hire a city taxi (costs about Rs. 150) or auto (costs about Rs. 60).
