Welcome to Alumni Meet

Dear Alumnus/Alumna,

The Department of Chemical Engineering at IISc, Bangalore is organising Alumni Meet on May 10, 2009, on the last day of the Workshop-cum-Symposium-cum-Alumni Meet, scheduled for May 6-10, 2009, on the occasion of the centenary year of the institute.

The objective of the Alumni Meet is to deliberate on two key areas that act as pillars of a dynamic and evolving department, and which can be strengthened by the direct and active involvement of its alumni. These areas are student training and department-alumni-outreach activity. Two sessions covering six themes through brief and focussed talks and panel discussion are convened to introspect and evolve a strategy that serves the department well in the coming years. The Meet will also bring a lot of us together at one place, and provide opportunities to renew and make new contacts. We also hope to evolve in this Meet a mechanism for holding Department-Alumni meetings regularly.
