Gold nanoparticles (GNPs) are one of the most studied materials in healthcare because of its biocompatibility. The conventional bulk aqueous chemical reduction route does not provide much control over the particle diameter, mainly due to the unconfined length scale of the reaction. This necessitates exploring and understanding the nanoparticle synthesis mechanism at different length scales.
