FMC discovers new crop protection molecules and optimizes synthesis pathways to commercialize active ingredients, then develops and manufactures liquid and solid formulations for farmers to apply it to their fields. This multi-year process can bring unique challenges which must be overcome to bring the new product to market. An overview of some of the technologies used to evaluate the scalability of formulations and case studies will be explored, as well as a discussion of potential future challenges.
