Chemical Engineering Internship Programme (CEIP)

The Chemical Engineering Internship Program (CEIP) is an intensive 8-week internship organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering at IISc. Interns participate in hands-on training embedded within various research groups. You will have the opportunity to learn about research methodology and advanced techniques, as well as design, develop, and execute specific research projects under the guidance of our faculty and researchers.

We accept undergraduate students for summer internships/projects through two different tracks.

  1. Interested summer internship students can directly write to department faculty and can request for recommendation to the CEIP.
  2. CEIP team invites Chemical Engineering Departments across the country to nominate their students. The pool of institutions invited each year is selected from the top-ranked undergraduate programmes in India.
