Ayushi Chauhan from the Chemical Engineering Department secured third place in the Breakthrough of the Year Emerging Talents category at the Falling Walls Lab and Science Summit 2022 in Berlin, Germany. Together with her supervisor, Dr. Bhushan Toley, Ayushi is developing a near-equipment-free assay for the decentralized and rapid detection of drug-resistant tuberculosis. As the winner of Falling Walls Lab India 2022, Ayushi represented India on this prestigious international stage.
