Post doctoral position open

We have an opening for an opening a post doctoral position. The opening is in the areas of dense granular and suspensions flows, but there is considerable scope for independence in defining the area of research. Applicants with interest or experience in experimental, theoretical, or computational research are all welcome. Applicants are expected to have a sound knowledge of fluid mechanics, and preferably experience in complex/multiphase systems. Project Assistant position open

A project assistants position is available in Dr. Banani Chakraborty's research group on DNA Origami and DNA aptamer based bio-sensing in the department of Chemical Engineering, IISc, Bangalore.
Background of the applicant: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry/Biotech/Nanotech
Skills required: Prior experience of working with biomolecules such as Proteins/DNA/RNA; familiarity with techniques like UV-VIS; Gel electrophoresis; Fluorescence; AFM imaging will be beneficial.
